Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya has entered into a development MoU with Airbus.
- An MoU was signed on September 07, 2023 in the presence of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav between Airbus in the national capital New Delhi and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) of Vadodara.
- The MoU aims to implement programs for regular students, sector-specific skills, courses and programs for working professionals, professional experience and collaborative research for teachers, placement, employment and scholarship programs for students of colleges and schools.
India plans to host the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi.
- 2023 and India has announced plans to host the 18th G-20 Summit on September 09, 2023 in the Indian capital, New Delhi. It is special that this conference is going to be held in Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan.
- It is considered important that the World Bank leaders, including the Prime Minister of England, the Prime Minister of Japan, the President of the United States, and other world leaders, attend this conference. The central government has announced that this will showcase India’s quality to the world stage.
Setting up of Integrated Command and Control Center NDMC
- In view of India’s G-20 Summit, the National Capital New Delhi Municipal Corporation has set up an Integrated Command and Control Center under the NDMC, as per a recent notification issued by the Central Government.
- The control center set up by NDMC will monitor and provide information on mechanical road cleaning vehicles, street lights, garbage disposal, parking and traffic movement, environmental sensors, the notification said.
Avaada Group has entered into an MoU with TSSEZL to promote India’s green hydrogen ambitions.
- Tata Steel Special Economic Zone (TSSEZL) and Avada Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up an Ammonia and Green Hydrogen Production Unit at Gopalpur Industrial Park, Ganjam District, Odisha, according to a recent announcement by Avada Group.
- The MoU aims to create 1,600 direct and 4,000 indirect jobs, reduce CO2 emissions by two million tonnes per annum and make India a global green hydrogen hub.

India and ASEAN have entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement for various developments.
- India and ASEAN have entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with concrete steps to implement and operationalize the development partnership for peace, trust, progress and shared prosperity.
- The agreement was signed by India and the 10 member countries of ASEAN on September 07, 2023. It is significant that this partnership agreement has been undertaken with the aim of increasing cooperative cooperation in various fields including food security, blue economy and space research and ensuring seamless connectivity in the Indo-Pacific region.
Mizoram participates in the ‘North East India Festival’ held in Milan, Italy.
- Senhri Folk & Cultural Troupe of Mizoram, India will participate in a special ‘North East India Festival’ to be held in Milan, Italy on September 9, 2023, according to the notification issued by the Senhri organization.
- The festival will showcase the rich and vibrant traditions, culture and music of the state of Mizoram, the ensemble said. While it is significant that the Mizoram group is the only cultural group participating in the Northeast festival. The event is organized by the North East Institute of Fashion Technology (NEIFT), Milan Italy and the Embassy of India.

A flagship program called “Safe City” will soon be launched in Haryana.
- Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur has announced that the “Safe City” program will soon be launched in the state.
- It has been reported that this program will be started in the major cities of the state, Rohtak and Gurugram, and then it will be implemented in the entire state. It is also informed that this scheme will play an important role in maintaining the law and order situation of the state.

The RBI has approved the appointment of Deepak Gupta as the interim managing director of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
- India’s Kotak Mahindra Bank said in a notification on September 08, 2023 that the Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Deepak Gupta as interim CEO and Managing Director for two months.
- Gupta’s appointment comes after this latest RBI announcement. Notably, the appointment follows the appointment of Uday Kotak, the former CEO and founder of Kotak Mahindra, to Pan.
Ahmad Faraz appointed as Managing Director and COO of Endorphins Entertainment.
- Endorphins Entertainment, the world’s leading content-led advertising and digital producer, has appointed Ahmed Faraz as its New Director and Chief Operating Officer, the company said in a recent announcement.
- He has also been appointed to oversee India-based regional and global management and operations, the announcement said.
Vivek Gupta appointed as MD & CEO of United Breweries.
- United Breweries Company (UBL), a subsidiary or subsidiary of the world renowned Heineken Company, has appointed Vivek Gupta as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in a recent announcement.
