The Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) is an eligibility exam conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) for candidates aiming to be primary and upper primary school teachers in the state of Tamil Nadu. Candidates who pass the TNTET exam are considered qualified to work as government school teachers.

To pass the exam and receive the certificate, the candidate must complete two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II). This TN TET Exam will be held only once a year. The TN TET Examination 2022 will be held in an offline mode. The question paper will be written in both English and Tamil. The format of the question paper will be MCQ. This examination has a total of 150 marks for Levels 1 and 2. The examination will last three hours. There is one mark for each correct answer, and there are no negative marks in this exam.
