The role is responsible for devising PR campaigns and strategies to boost the image of the organization. It also includes engaging with media, and help Head EMBU and leadership team releasing statements and networking with other professional from different fields.
PR Lead Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand existing market and industry scenarios to be able to support the function in implementing the agreed external communication for the company
- Effectively track and pre-empt important developments in the media fraternity and accordingly build and maintain media relations across platforms like print, TV, online and regional media
- Effectively help the department in dissemination of information of/about the company, products with external stakeholders
- Timely update and maintain official communication channels like online, social, all.
- Support functional head in bringing all relevant departments on the same page and in-sync with the planned activity/ communication
- Draft, disseminate Press Release and other relevant documents to media
- Track and maintain resultant coverage and share it with key stakeholders
- Organize product reviews by providing products to media and also maintain the media fleet
