ஆசிய கோப்பை கால்பந்து தொடருக்கு இந்திய அணி தொடர்ச்சியாக 2-வது முறையாக தகுதி

• ஆசிய கோப்பை கால்பந்து தொடர் 2023-ம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 16 முதல் ஜூலை 16 வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது. இந்தத் தொடருக்கான தகுதி சுற்று ஆட்டங்களின் 3-வது பகுதி நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இதில் 24 அணிகள் பங்கேற்றுள்ளன. இவை 6 பிரிவுகளாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவிலும் 4 அணிகள் இடம் பிடித்துள்ளன. இதில் ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவிலும் முதலிடம் பிடிக்கும் அணிகளும், 2-வது இடத்தை பிடிக்கும் 5 சிறந்த அணிகளும் ஆசிய கோப்பை தொடருக்கு தகுதி பெறும்.தகுதி சுற்று தொடரில் ‘டி’ பிரிவில் இடம் பெற்றிருந்த இந்தியா தனது முதல் இரு ஆட்டங்களில் ஆப்கானிஸ்தான், கம்போடியாவை தோற்கடித்து 6 புள்ளிகள் பெற்றிருந்தது. இதே பிரிவில் ஹாங்காங் 6 புள்ளிகள் பெற்ற போதிலும் கோல்கள் வித்தியாசத்தின் அடிப்படையில் முதலிடம் வகித்திருந்தது.
• இதற்கிடையே ‘பி’ பிரிவில் இடம் பெற்றிருந்த பாலஸ்தீனம் தனது கடைசி ஆட்டத்தில் நேற்று பிலிப்பைன்ஸை 40 என்ற கோல் கணக்கில் வீழ்த்தியது. இதன் மூலம் 9 புள்ளிகளுடன் தனது பிரிவில் முதலிடம் பிடித்து ஆசிய கோப்பைக்கு நேரடியாக தகுதி பெற்றது பாலஸ்தீனம் அணி. பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் அணி 4 புள்ளிகள் பெற்று 2-வது இடம் பிடித்த போதிலும் தொடரில் இருந்து வெளியேற்றப்பட்டது.பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் வெளியேறியதால் டி பிரிவில் நேற்றைய நிலவரப்படி 2-வது இடம் வகித்த இந்திய அணியும் ஆசிய கோப்பை தொடருக்கு தகுதி பெற்றது. இந்திய அணி தனது கடைசி லீக் போட்டிக்கு முன்னதாகவே தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளது. ஆசிய கோப்பை கால்பந்து தொடருக்கு இந்திய அணி தொடர்ச்சியாக 2-வது முறையாக தகுதி பெறுவது இதுவே முதன்முறை. ஒட்டுமொத்தத்தில் இந்திய அணி 5-வது முறையாக ஆசிய கோப்பைக்கு தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளது. 1964, 1984, 2011, 2019 ஆகிய ஆண்டுகளிலும் இந்திய அணி ஆசிய கோப்பை தொடரில் விளையாடி இருந்தது.

• இந்திய பத்திரிகை கவுன்சில் தலைவராக, ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதிபதி ரஞ்சனா பிரகாஷ் தேசாய் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.இந்திய பத்திரிகை கவுன்சில் தலைவராக இருந்த ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதிபதி சந்திரமவுலி குமார் பிரசாத் பதவிக்காலம் கடந்த ஆண்டு நவம்பரில் நிறைவடைந்தது.

• பின்லாந்து நாட்டின் பழைய நகரமான துர்க்குவில் நடந்த போட்டியில் நீரஜ் சோப்ரா30 மீட்டர் தூரம் ஈட்டி எறிந்து புதிய தேசிய சாதனை படைத்தார். முன்பாக, டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக்கின் போது 87.58 மீட்டர் ஈட்டி எறிந்து நீரஜ் சாதனை படைத்திருந்தார். இந்த சாதனையை தற்போது முறியடித்துள்ளார்.

• Neeraj Chopra set a new national record by throwing a distance of 89.30 meters in the competition held in the old city of Turku, Finland. Earlier, Neeraj had set a record of 87.58 meters at the Tokyo Olympics. He has now broken this record.

The Indian team qualifies for the 2nd time in a row for the Asian Cup football series

• The Asian Cup Football Series 2023 will be held from June 16 to July 16. The 3rd part of the qualifying round matches for this series is underway. There are 24 teams participating. These are divided into 6 sections. There are 4 teams in each division. The top 5 teams in each category and the top 5 teams in each division will qualify for the Asian Cup Series.
• India, who were placed in the ‘D’ category of the qualifying round, had beaten Afghanistan and Cambodia by 6 points in their first two matches. In the same category Hong Kong topped in terms of goals difference despite scoring 6 points.
• Meanwhile, Palestine, who are in Group B, beat the Philippines 4-0 in their last match yesterday. The Palestinians finished first in their division with 9 points and qualified directly for the Asian Cup. The Philippines team was eliminated from the series despite finishing 2nd with 4 points.
• The Indian team, which finished 2nd in Group D yesterday, also qualified for the Asian Cup series due to the exit of the Philippines. The Indian team has qualified ahead of its last league match. This is the first time in a row that the Indian team has qualified for the Asian Cup football series. Overall, the Indian team has qualified for the Asian Cup for the 5th time.
