தன்னிச்சையாகப் பறக்கும் ஆளில்லா விமானத்தின் முதல் புறப்பாடு

• பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனம் ஆனது தன்னிச்சையாகப் பறக்கும் வான்வெளித் தொழில்நுட்பக் கருவியின் முதல் சோதனையை வெற்றிகரமாக மேற்கொண்டது,
• இது கர்நாடகாவின் சித்ர துர்காவில் உள்ள வான்வெளியியல் சோதனைத் தளத்தில்
• இருந்து பரிசோதிக்கப்பட்டது.
• இந்த ஆளில்லா வான்வழி வாகனம் (UAV) ஆனது ஒரு சிறிய சுழல்விசை விசிறி இயந்திரத்தால் இயக்கப்படுகிறது.

• பெரிய ஆட்ரான் மோதுவி ஆய்வகத்தில், பேரண்டத்தின் கட்டமைப்புத் தொகுதிகளைப் பற்றி அறிவதற்கானப் பணியின் போது, இதுவரை கண்டிராத மூன்று அணுவகத் துகள்களை அறிவியலாளர்கள் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்,
• அறிவியலாளர்கள் ஒரு புதிய வகையான “பென்டாக்வார்க்” மற்றும் முதல் இணை
• ‘டெட்ராக்வார்க்” ஆகியவற்றைக் கண்டறிந்துள்ளனர்.
• இதனை ஐரோப்பிய அணு ஆராய்ச்சி மன்றமான CERN தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• லார்ஜ் ஹாட்ரான் கொலைடர் அல்லது பெரிய ஆட்ரான் மோதுவி என்பது புலப்படாத ‘தெய்வீக துகள் அல்லது ஹிக்ஸ் போசான் என்றத் துகளைக் கண்டறிந்த இயந்திரம்
• ஆகும்.
• 7 பில்லியன் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு ஏற்பட்ட பெருவெடிப்புக்குப் பிறகு பேரண்டம் உருவாவதற்கு இது இன்றியமையாததாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.
• இது CERN மன்றத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள 27 கிமீ நீளமுள்ள லார்ஜ் ஹாட்ரான் கொலைடர்
• இயந்திரம் ஆகும்.
• இது ஸ்விட்சர்லாந்தின் ஜெனீவா நகரில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
• CERN என்பது ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் ஒரு அதிகாரப்பூர்வப் பார்வையாளர் தகுதிபெற்ற அமைப்பாகும்.
• CERN ஆனது உலகளாவிய வலையமைப்பின் பிறப்பிடமாகவும் உள்ளது.

அமெரிக்க தொலைநோக்கி எடுத்த பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அற்புத புகைப்படம்

• ஐரோப்பா, கனடா விண்வெளி ஆய்வு அமைப்புகளுடன் இணைந்து ‘ஜேம்ஸ் வெப்’ என்ற விண்வெளி தொலைநோக்கியை ரூ.6 ஆயிரம் கோடியில் நாசா உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
• உலகின் மிகப் பெரிய இந்த தொலைநோக்கி, தென் அமெரிக்காவின் பிரெஞ்ச் கயானாவில் உள்ள ராக்கெட் ஏவுதளத்தில் இருந்து 5 ராக்கெட்டுகள் மூலம் கடந்த டிசம்பர் மாதம் வெற்றிகரமாக விண்ணில் செலுத்தப்பட்டது.
• பூமியில் இருந்து 10 லட்சம் மைல் தொலைவில் நிலை நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் தொலைநோக்கி எடுத்து அனுப்பிய பிரபஞ்சத்தின் முதலாவது வண்ணப்படத்தை அதிபர் பைடன் வெள்ளை மாளிகையில் வெளியிட்டார். இதற்குமுன் இப்படிப்படம் எடுக்கப்பட்டது இல்லை .
• இதில், ‘பிரபஞ்சம் வெள்ளை , மஞ்சள், ஆரஞ்சு மற்றும் சிகப்பு நிறங்களில் புள்ளிகள், கோடுகள், சுருள்கள், சூழல்கள் என வண்ணமயமாக காட்சி அளிக்கிறது, என்று நாசா நிர்வாகி பில் நெல்சன் கூறியுள்ளார்.

• கஜகஸ்தானின் நூர்-சுல்தான் என்னுமிடத்தில் நடைபெற்ற எலோர்டா கோப்பைப்

• இந்தப் போட்டியில் இந்தியா, உஸ்பெகிஸ்தான் மற்றும் கஜகஸ்தான், கியூபா, சீனா மற்றும் மங்கோலியா போன்ற நாடுகளின் வீரர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்,

தேசிய குத்துச்சண்டை – தமிழகத்துக்கு இரு வெண்கலம்

• காட்டாங்குளத்தூரில் நடைபெற்ற இப்போட்டியின் கடைசி நாளான செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை, ஆடவருக்கான லைட் மிடில் வெயிட் (67-71 கிலோ) பிரிவில் தமிழகத்தின் ஜி.கபிலனும், மகளிருக்கான லைட் வெயிட் (57-60 கிலோ) பிரிவில் தமிழகத்தின் ஆர்.மாலதியும் 3-ஆம் இடம் பிடித்து வெண்கலப் பதக்கம் பெற்றனர்.
• இந்தப் போட்டியில் ஆடவர் பிரிவில் சர்வீசஸ் அணி 9 தங்கம், 2 வெள்ளி என 11 பதக்கங்களுடனும், மகளிர் பிரிவில் ஹரியாணா அணி 8 தங்கம், 3 வெள்ளி என 11 பதக்கங்களுடனும் போட்டியின் சிறந்த அணிகளாகத் தோவாகின.
• ஆடவர் பிரிவில் 2, 3-ஆம் இடங்களை முறையே ஹரியாணா, மத்திய  அணிகள் பிடிக்க, மகளிர் பிரிவில் மகாராஷ்டிர அணி 2-ஆம் இடமும், தில்லி அணி 3-ஆம் இடமும் பெற்றன.

Autonomous Aircraft’s Maiden Take-Off

• The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully carried out the Maiden flight of Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator.
• It is tested from Aeronautical Test Range in Chitra Durga, Karnataka. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) powered by a small turbofan engine.

Particle Zoo 2.0

• Scientists have discovered three never seen before subatomic particles while working to unlock building blocks of the universe at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
• The scientists have observed a new kind of “pentaquark” and the first-ever pair of “tetraquarks”.
• This was informed by the European nuclear research centre CERN.
• The Large Hadron Collider is the machine that found the elusive ‘God particle’ or Higgs Boson.
• It is thought to be vital for the formation of the universe after the big bang, 13.7 billion years ago.
• It is a 27 km long LHC at CERN.

• It is about five-time world chess champion Viswanathan Anand.

Amazing picture of the universe taken by the US telescope

• NASA has developed the ‘James Webb’ space telescope at a cost of Rs 79.6 thousand crores in collaboration with European and Canadian Space Research Organizations. The world’s largest telescope was successfully launched last December by five rockets from a rocket launch pad in French Guiana, South America.
• President Biden unveiled at the White House the first color picture of the universe sent by the James Webb Telescope, which is stationed 1 million miles from Earth. A film like this has never been taken before.
• NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said, ‘The universe is a colorful display of white, yellow, orange and red dots, lines, spirals andspheres.

Elorda Cup

• The Youth World Boxing champions Alfiya Pathan and Gitika have won gold
• medals at the Elorda Cup in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
• Two other Indian female boxers Kalaivani Srinivasan and Jamuna Boro won
• silver medals.
• This tournament witnessed players from countries such as India, Uzbekistan, and hosts Kazakhstan, Cuba, China, and Mongolia.

National Boxing – Two bronze for Tamil Nadu

• On Tuesday, the last day of the competition held in Kattangulathur, Tamil Nadu’s G. Kapilan in the men’s light middle weight (6771 kg) category and Tamil Nadu’s R. Malathi in the women’s light weight (57-60 kg) category won bronze medals.
• In the men’s category, Chavez team won 11 medals including 9 gold and 2 silver, while Haryana team won 11 medals including 8 gold and 3 silver in the women’s category.
• Haryana and Madhya Pradesh teams won the end and 3rd positions respectively in the men’s division, while the Maharashtra team took the and position and the Delhi team took the 3rd position in the women’s division.

Indian bowler Mohammed Shami is the fastest to take 150 wickets in ODI cricket

• Fast bowler Mohammed Shami has set the record as the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 wickets in ODI cricket. He had achieved this milestone during the first ODI against England.
• Mohammed Shami is one of the main fast bowlers of the current Indian cricket team. The 31-year-old Shami has played Test, ODI and T20 international cricket for the Indian team. Shami took a total of three wickets in the first ODI against England.
• Shami took the wickets of Stokes, Buttler and Overton. It was when he took Buttler’s wicket that he became the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 wickets in ODI cricket. He took his 150th wicket in 4071 balls in ODI cricket. In the same match, he took his 151st wicket as well.
• With this, this record which was till now in the possession of Ajith Agarkar, is now in the possession of Shami. Bowlers who took 150 wickets in fewest balls in ODI cricket.
