A Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)  for admission as short service course/ permanent commission course in Indian Military Academy(IMA), Indian Naval Academy(INA), Air Force Academy(AFA), Officers’ Training Academies(OTA).

• For AFA or Engineering Deg.

• For INA   18 – 23
• For AFA   20 – 24
